Premium Plus fiber optic pigtails and pigtail kits are manufactured in the USA for fusion splicing in data centers, PON, WDM/DWDM, FTTh and access networks. Pigtails are 900‑µm tight buffer cords available in 1, 2, or 3 m lengths (longer lengths on request), offered with LC, LC/APC, SC, SC/APC, ST, FC and FC/APC terminations and in OS2, OM1, OM3, OM4 and OM5 fiber types. Connectors are precision polished with zirconia ferrules, 100% tested for insertion loss and return loss, and individually packaged with part number, barcode and QR code; pigtails feature flag labels for traceability. Standard insertion loss ≤ 0.25 dB (standard) and ≤ 0.12 dB (low‑loss) for single‑mode; multimode ≤ 0.25 dB (standard) and ≤ 0.15 dB (low‑loss). Single‑mode return loss: UPC ≥ 50 dB, APC ≥ 60 dB. Multimode return loss ≥ 26 dB. Pull force 5 N ± 0.5 and connector durability > 500 matings.
