Unlike fabric-covered or foam-covered sticks, CCTs are molded cleaning tips that effectively trap contamination and absorb cleaning solvents, drawing them away from the connector end-face. These tips are constructed from a molded, sintered polymer that is both porous and pliable, allowing them to conform to nearly any fiber end-face polish geometry while capturing and absorbing contaminants. For optimal and consistent cleaning results, they are designed to be used with AFL’s FCC2 Connector Cleaning Fluid.<\/p>\n
